Where life takes you

I’m amazed where running has got me. Like to Chinatown on Saturday morning to eat a freshly made bbq pork bun, Oak Street beach in the winter, the end of Navy Pier on a random week night, Lincoln park zoo and techno structure. Most amazing to me are the distances. From a 11 mile random night run in the dead of winter to 15 in the heat if summer. Of course the 26.2 miles of each marathon I’ve ran are pretty awesome. Running Tokyo was awesome an I am on the verge of doing it again…

It’s done.

I’m pretty sure nobody reads this, but I really want just say what’s on my mind. After years of holding in my feelings, I’ve finally told this person how I felt. I’ll spare you the details, but I will say that I do feel emptiness in myself,  but it’s an emptiness that is waiting to be filled with the love and caring of somebody who does truly love and inspire me. I hope that this person finds me…or I find that person.

So looking forward to time away.

Getting away from work first an foremost. Sure I’m taking a hit financially. A really really big hit. Peace of mind is worth it. Life is short so why not make the best of it. I think a life that is lived is much more important than a life that is lived for the sole purpose of making money. I’m not going to lie, I would definitely like to have more money but the stories and adventures I will have. Yup.
